Roles & Responsibilities
The APAC Regional Insight Lead plays a crucial role in the region by collaborating with local and global stakeholders, serving as a key thought partner for market and performance insights. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive market analysis and performance understanding, ensuring transparency in forecasting assumptions, and assisting countries in identifying opportunities, optimizing return on investment, managing risks, and driving growth.
Your Role :
- Foster a culture of market and competitor awareness by delivering performance analyses based on market and competitor data, and proactively initiating efforts to enhance market understanding.
- Ensure that market performance data and KPIs are consistent, strategically aligned, high-quality, and utilized for decision-making, in collaboration with the GSI Center of Excellence on reporting and data quality.
- Understand the business needs of key stakeholders (RVP, RFLs) and provide relevant insights and analyses.
- Increase transparency regarding forecasting assumptions to facilitate fair evaluations and challenge forecasts, while making risks visible for timely action.
- Conduct regional primary market research and contribute regional insights to global primary market research in partnership with global teams.
- Assist RFLs with regional forecasting, including input from the region and business development forecasts.
- Promote best practice sharing related to insights across the region and encourage interaction within the regional BI community, while raising awareness of global solutions and driving their adoption where suitable.
- Collaborate with the regional GBI and IT leads to advance our APAC data and digital transformation initiatives, working closely with the countries.
- Engage with countries in the region to cultivate a data-driven mindset, providing tools to enhance performance management and risk identification while ensuring consistency and sharing global / regional insights and solutions.
Who You Are :
A degree is required, with a preference for a postgraduate qualification.Fluency in English is essential.Over 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical insights and / or commercial / marketing functions.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.Business acumen with the ability to identify gaps and make connections.A pragmatic approach with the capacity to deliver results within tight timelines.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of aligning teams without hierarchical structures.Proactive, with the ability to work autonomously while seeking input and communicating as needed.Digital learning agility.Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with additional skills in data management tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView / QlikSense) and database management considered a valuable asset.Tell employers what skills you have
