The Senior Executive will play a crucial role in strengthening Singapore Cancer Society’s (SCS) cancer navigation services, enquiries centre capabilities, and community outreach programmes. This role will bridge healthcare touchpoints and community partners to ensure seamless support for screeners, patients, and their families throughout their cancer journey.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Cancer Navigator Programme and Training
- Recruit, train, and supervise Enquiries Navigators
- Establish SOPs for enquiry handling and escalation pathways
- Work with Digital and Physical Navigation leads to deliver integrated services
- Provide case management and specialised patient support where relevant
2. Enquiries Centre (Call, Messaging, Email)
Lead the establishment of the Enquiries Centre (infrastructure, technology, and workflows)Design and implement multi-channel communication systemsDevelop operational frameworks, scripts, and protocolsOversee day-to-day operations once the centre is established3. Monitoring and Evaluation
Ensure timely and appropriate handling of complex or sensitive enquiriesMaintain updated knowledge resources for the Enquiries Centre teamCollaborate with navigation leads to ensure smooth service deliveryParticipate in team meetings to share updates on services and resources4. Other Duties
Update and maintain records in the internal data system (LEAP)Answer phone calls related to event registrations and general queriesProvide administrative support to the departmentAssist in outreach events as requiredKey Requirements :
Degree in administration, health / allied health, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 5 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of healthcare systems and programme managementExperience in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and volunteer managementExperience in call centre operations and multi-channel communications is an advantageExcellent interpersonal, communication, project management and problem-solving skillsEmpathy and sensitivity when engaging with cancer patients and survivorsAdaptable to changing priorities and fast-paced environmentsFluency in English; proficiency in a second language (Chinese, Malay, or Tamil) preferredWhy Join Us?
