Role Summary
The Senior Technical Consultant has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Technical Consultants define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production lifecycle.
Our Senior Technical Consultants proactively provide mentoring, support, and guidance to Junior Developers and often act as Project Team Leads due to their high skill set and decision-making ability.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage project processes such as platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, effort estimation, and advanced development.
- Participate and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.
- Translate requirements and mock-ups into functional features, working closely with the implementation team.
- Ensure technical quality in development and configuration, guiding junior / mid developers.
- Follow ServiceNow best practices in technical design.
- Provide timely updates to Project Lead for customer communication.
- Contribute to improving delivery processes and capabilities.
- Fill technical or process roles as needed.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Assist in scoping new opportunities and designing efficient tools and techniques.
- Act as the final escalation point for technical decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including implementation, development, and administration.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and at least one additional certification.Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and web services; understanding of ITIL.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.Experience in project management and delivering solutions on time.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Adaptability to fast-paced environments.Experience or knowledge of the Singapore public sector.Additional Details
