Roles & Responsibilities
Overview
The Site IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting IT operations. This role will ensure the smooth functioning of IT services for over 100 users and the maintenance of about 20 meeting rooms equipped with advanced technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network issues.
- Provide second-line support for end users in person.
- Ensures timely resolution of issue and resolve support tickets accordingly to priority and SLA timelines.
- Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Collaborate with global and / or regional project team, take the lead role of the projects roll out / implementation on the site.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the meeting rooms, including AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and other related technologies.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software for office or remote users.
- Supporting IT hardware and software lifecycle management by monitoring and maintaining IT asset inventory which includes hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
- Participate in IT onboarding activities for new employees.
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services and support.
- Provide training and support to users on IT systems and applications.
Qualifications
Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 2-4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.Experience with AV equipment and video conferencing systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Mandarin and English. Good customer service skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and as part of a team.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure.Preferred / Optional Skills
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.ITIL foundation certification.Tell employers what skills you have
