What you can expect in
your Inside Sales Support Role at
VIKING :
As Inside Sales Executive
your primary role is assisting External Sales Personnel for ongoing
development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that
the department is able to meet its growth targets and to take care
of Viking interest as well as ensuring customers' requirements are
fulfilled.
Specifically, this role
includes, but are not limited to the following Responsibilities and
Tasks : Creating
quotations in cooperation with the External Sales Personnel based
on identified sales strategy and information collected from
customers or partners as assigned
Develop
trust relationships and acquire a thorough understanding of key
customer needs and requirements, which includes resolve of any
issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints,
feedback and update accordingly to relevant system.
Expand the relationships with existing customers by
continuously proposing solutions that meet their
objectives
Sales administration duties are
performed accurately and on time, which include proactive follow up
of quotation, develop, support and prepare sales entries,
documentation for sales opportunities, in the event where not
available from other sources
Proactively
maintain effective working relationships with all departments to
achieve a shared goal of customer satisfaction
Co-ordinate market feedback and trade strategy
communication as a liaison between various department
involved
Initiating telephone and email
contact with potential prospects
Assesses
competitors by analysing and summarizing competitor information and
trends, identifying sales opportunities.
Answering of phone calls, within your own area as well as
colleague who is unavailable and providing caller assistance by
diverting to next correct
personnel
GENERAL
Look
out for additional opportunities within VIKING's products catalogue
and capitalize on these when they arise
Ensuring payments are timely received according to
contracts
Ensure that the commercial terms of
the contracts adhere to company policy
Employ
database and IT systems required by
management
Your
secondary roles are, to the best of your

customer to "B" customer
To look out for risks
(contractual, payment and other etc.) and bring these to the
attention of the Team Leader and Manager before these risks turn
into real problems.
You are expected
to be a team player and have a positive, professional, and helpful
attitude towards colleagues and customers, both in and out of
office and to show willingness to learn and take up new
challenges.
You are expected to conduct business
in a manner, which enhances the image of VIKING as a premium brand
of high integrity and reliability.
You will
together with the Team Leader to plan your work and are expected to
work independently on the sales efforts.
