We are seeking a highly motivated and talented senior / lead research engineer to join our team in the area of continuous variable (CV) and discrete variable (DV) hybrid quantum information processing. The successful candidate will join the Quantum Sensing and Metrology (QSM) Pillar of the A
- STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC). The successful candidate will also have opportunities to participate in international collaborative research.
Key responsibilities :
Design and develop hybrid CV-DV quantum protocols, including the generation of CV-DV hybrid entanglement.Conduct experimental and / or theoretical research in squeezed light, entangled photons, and CV-DV hybrid quantum states.Collaborate with international collaborators.Development of ultra fast squeezed light.Publish research results in journals and contribute to reporting.Requirements :
PhD, Bachelor or Master in physics, quantum optics, or related disciplines with at least 8 years of experience.Background in either CV or DV quantum optics platforms.Familiarity with quantum optics experiment such as squeezed light, spontaneous parametric down conversion, etc.Experience in any of the following is a plus (but not mandatory); Experimental optics, particularly quantum optics, and / or Programming in Python, Mathematica, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or COMSOLStrong communication skills.The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
