Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, café, or outlet, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage the service team, maintain smooth operations, and support the F&B Manager in achieving revenue and service goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate F&B service staff to deliver excellent guest service.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in staff scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Ensure adherence to service standards, grooming policies, and company SOPs.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to update staff on promotions, menu changes, or operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor sales performance and support in upselling initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare reports on shift operations, staff performance, and customer feedback.
Requirements
Diploma / Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in an F&B supervisory role.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.Knowledge of food safety regulations and F&B service standards.Customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Tell employers what skills you have
