Manufacturing Engineer / West / $4500 - $6000 + VB #ECT

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize manufacturing processes, including fixture and gauge design.
• Handle quotations and manage production programs.
• Implement Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous process improvements.
• Plan and schedule operations using ERP systems.
• Prepare NC programs , including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from Aluminium, Titanium, to Inconel 718.
• Develop probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, and dimension checks.
• Control machining cycle times, including in-machine activities such as probing, machining, and cutter checks.
• Manage overall machining costs, considering cycle time and tooling expenses.
• Work with the MRB team to troubleshoot non-conformance issues.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
