The
Regional Business Development Manager
("BDM") is a front-line commercial role responsible
for hunting, closing, and expanding new business
opportunities across Mesh Bio's regional markets.
The ideal candidate is a hunter
and closer with a strong track record of achieving
sales quotas in complex B2B healthcare
environments.
Business Development
& Sales Execution
Develop new business opportunities through targeted
outreach, including cold calling, networking, and nurturing
healthcare professionals and institutional leads.
Identify and qualify business opportunities, follow up on
leads, and convert them into revenue-generating
accounts.
Devise and execute sales strategies
to achieve and exceed sales targets across assigned
markets.
Design and implement a
strategic sales plan to expand the
company's customer base and establish a strong market
presence.
Conduct consultative sales
engagements by understanding customer needs, positioning solutions
effectively, and creating urgency for
adoption.
Customer
Engagement & Relationship
Management
Build and
maintain trusted, long-term business relationships with doctors,
healthcare administrators, and institutional partners.
Proactively address customer concerns and objections with
confidence, providing tailored
solutions.
Product
& Solution Enablement
Develop a deep technical and clinical understanding of
the Mesh Bio products and effectively communicate value to
stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the
Healthcare Solutions Engineer to
fulfill customer requirements, including product demonstrations,
configuration, and testing.
Gather and
document client needs, translating them into structured feedback
for product development and engineering teams.
Participate in UAT and customer surveys to inform product
design, usability, and feature
enhancements.
Marketing
& Thought Leadership
Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to
develop sales collateral, product literature, and customer-facing
materials.
Support development of online and
offline marketing initiatives, including website content, social
media campaigns, and event promotion.
Represent the company at industry conferences and
networking events to build visibility and thought leadership in
digital health
innovation.
Strategic
Contribution
Translate
the company's commercial strategy into actionable sales and
deployment activities.
Provide insights on
market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs to
refine go-to-market and product strategies.
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration to ensure
commercial success and customer satisfaction across all
deployments.
JOB
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum Bachelor's
degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, or
related fields.
5-8 years of proven business
development and deal-closing experience in healthtech, biotech,
medtech, imaging, or pharma industries.
Strong
hunter mindset with a proven track record of closing high-value B2B
deals and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
A solid network of industry contacts across hospitals,
healthcare systems, and life sciences organizations is highly
desirable.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion,
and relationship management skills with experience engaging C-suite
stakeholders.
Results-driven, entrepreneurial,
and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
environment.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
within the region.
Any Ad hoc work related
tasks as assigned by immediate
superior.
