Description :
We’re looking for Chefs specializing in Singapore, Malaysia & Thai Zi Char to join our team.
Job Description :
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Zi Char dishes , including seafood, meat, vegetable, noodle, and rice dishes inspired by Singaporean, Malaysian, and Thai cuisine.
- Develop and execute daily specials or seasonal dishes that reflect the flavor profile of Southeast Asian street food .
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency according to house standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, following food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Monitor stock levels, manage ingredient inventory, and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishments.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and smooth operations during peak hours.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff if required.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements :
Strong knowledge of Singaporean, Malaysian, and Thai stir-fry dishes, sauces, and ingredients.Skilled in wok handling and high-heat cooking techniques.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.Good communication skills and a strong team player.Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and early or late shifts, depending on business needs.Food safety certification is an advantage, but not necessary.Tell employers what skills you have
