Junior squad and programme manager

The Yard Singapore, the premier gymnastics club in Singapore,

is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Junior Squads

Coach and Program Coordinator to join our team. As the only club in

Singapore with gymnasts who have been offered NCAA scholarships, we

are committed to maintaining our position as leaders in the

gymnastics community.

The ideal candidate will

be responsible for managing and further developing our junior

squads program.Responsibilities : Program Management : Manage the

junior squads training schedules, competitions, and athlete

development plans.

Athlete Development : Design

and implement individualized development plans for gymnasts within

the program, focusing on skill acquisition, physical conditioning,

and mental preparation.

Competition Preparation : Working

with the athletes to prepare them for competitions, potential to

travel to international competition organizing the

logistics.

Collaboration with National Bodies : Establish

and maintain strong relationships with national gymnastics

associations and governing bodies to ensure alignment with national

team selection criteria and opportunities for our

gymnasts.

Community Engagement :

Act as

an ambassador for The Yard Singapore within the gymnastics

community, participating in events, workshops, and outreach

programs to promote the club and its competitive

program.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Sports

Management, Physical Education, or related field.

Minimum

of 3 years of experience in coaching and / or managing competitive

gymnastics programs.

Competitive Gymnastic experience

essential

Strong leadership and communication skills, with

the ability to motivate and inspire athletes and dealing with

parents.

In-depth knowledge of gymnastics

training techniques, competition regulations, and athlete

development principles.

Excellent organizational

and time management abilities, with a keen attention to

detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings

and weekends, to accommodate training and competition

schedules.
