Roles & Responsibilities
The Procurement Expeditor / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant execution of procurement activities for offshore oil and gas projects. This role involves coordinating with vendors, internal departments, and third-party institutions to manage procurement packages, resolve import / export issues, and maintain progress in line with project schedules.
Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination & Meetings
- Organize and lead Pre-Inspection, Kick-Off, ITP, and FAT meetings with vendors.
- Prepare and submit related documentation for Owner approval.
Commercial Negotiations
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial aspects with vendors.Ensure procurement aligns with Company’s interests and mitigates risks.Procurement Reporting
Maintain and update procurement status reports to reflect real-time progress.Cross-Functional Communication
Liaise with Design, QHSE, and TPC institutions to ensure smooth PO execution.Resolve technical and compliance issues collaboratively.Import / Export Support
Coordinate with logistics and customs to resolve issues related to material import / export.Ensure timely delivery and clearance of goods.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 projects as Procurement Manager or Deputy ManagerProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with international business rules and trade practicesThorough knowledge of characteristics and technical requirements specific to offshore oil and gas platforms is a MUSTExperience working on large-scale offshore or FPSO projects is preferredMust be willing to travel overseas for extended periods.Tell employers what skills you have
