Roles & Responsibilities

Scope : Full time Engineer providing Oracle ZDLRA base rack L2 / L3 support as follows.

1. Perform Configuration of Cloud Control for Recovery Appliance

2. Management of ZDLRA including generation and review of backups reports on Recovery Appliance

3. Application of patches for ZDLRA.

4. Perform the following routine maintenance / BAU tasks for Recovery appliance :

• Monitor activity on Recovery Appliance
• Monitor backup jobs from ZDLRA Perspective (Not monitoring for DBA, Backups of Database is DBA responsibility, any issues that arise in ZDLRA backups we will assist DBA)
• Generate and review reports on Recovery Appliance
• Restart the Recovery Appliance
• Performing Health check of Recovery appliance.

5. Perform all system activities (related to ZDLRA) including assistance with Backup related performance issues as needed.

6. Assistance with monitoring routines for ZDLRA.

7. Assistance with database backup issues and incidents in ZDLRA.

8. Perform duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the ZDLRA.
