Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for supporting the Corporate HR in the implementation of HR strategies, policies and procedures for the brand, and providing HR advice to the Country Director
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Leads the HR activities within for the Brand
- Supervises, develops and provides guidance to the brand HR team
Financial
Manages operations to hit performance metrics for the HR team for the brandOversee & Ensure timely processing of payroll for all employeesFunctional
Advises the Country Director on HR matters for the brandImplements initiatives, action plans, procedures, policies and processes and ensures alignment with the organizationDrives the corporate engagements surveysConducts regular engagement activities in the campusesManages the rewards program for the campusesSupports the Corporate HR Head in the organization-wide performance management process, and oversees the performance management process.Monitors and ensures appraisals are completed in accordance to the timelinesConducts the first round of normalization of the bell curve and performance ratings in discussion with the managers, and shares the results with the Corporate HR HeadProvides HR policy guidance and interpretationMaintains in-depth knowledge of country legal requirements relating to the day-to-day management of employeesEnsures compliance with statutory matters, such as application for employment passes, renewal of work permits, etc.Interaction
Works closely with the Recruitment Manager, sharing forecasting needs and role requirementsWorks closely with the Training Manager, encouraging uptake of training and identifying training needs in the countryAddresses complex employee queries relating to HRMaintain networks and relationships with internal and external partners at the working level to keep abreast of the current industry climate and macroeconomic trendsPeople Focus
Collaborates proactively with Recruitment team to continuously increase competency within the team to meet future organisations needs through the development and recruitment of talentAssist the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees in the teamJob Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent; Preferable Post Graduate / MBA in Human Resource ManagementExperience
