Job descriptionMaster's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering. Knowledge in embedded firmware development, preferably in storage / SSD. Excellent knowledge of system storage and platform ingredients (CPU, Memory, drivers, OS, firmware). Experience with storage interfaces (SATA, SAS, PCIE, NVME) is a plus. Proficiency in C-based programming and Python. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated and enthusiastic in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and perform failure analysis on firmware-related issues.
- Manage customer issues, driving issues to closure
- Provide technical input and estimate development effort to support of new business cases
- Build trusting relationships with customers, customer-facing teams, and others in SSD engineering
- Support post qual release customer qualifications, Firmware management and Firmware releases.
- Provide technical guidance to customer facing teams and validation teams
