Our client is an established Offshore Facilities and Components provider, serving the offshore energy companies, operating all over the world. They are currently looking for a Marine Operation Specialist .

Job Description| Marine Operation Specialist :

Role and responsibilities

Planning and Coordination : Planning, coordination, and supervising the movement of marine vessels, ensuring that all operations align with project schedules and requirements.

Vessel and Equipment Management : Vetting and overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and operational readiness of marine vessels and equipment, ensuring they are seaworthy and well-maintained.

Emergency Response : Preparing coordination plan, interface plan, inspection plan, marine traffic management plan, terminal operation procedure, emergency response plans and procedures whatsoever any documents related with the marine operation.

Stakeholder Coordination : Working closely with various stakeholders, including vessel captains, crew, port authorities, and regulatory bodies to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth operations.

Documentation and Reporting : Keeping detailed records of marine operations, including log entries, reports, and documentation of activities.

Required skills and experience

Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture, or a related field.

Experience : At least 10 years of post-qualification marine operation experience.

Technical Skills : knowledge of marine operations, including navigation, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance.

Regulatory Knowledge : A thorough understanding of international maritime laws and regulations to ensure compliance during operations.

English language skills : Fluent Communication, proficiency in both spoken and written for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

Other ability : Understanding and creating technical reports, procedures, and regulatory documents in English.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, result driven and have a good sense of team working skills.

Good attitude and possess the willingness to learn on the job.

Adaptable to fast paced work environment, able to work under pressure, able to finish assigned work on time.

Good communicative skill, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork.

Fluency in English is required to communicate with their diverse team and stakeholders effectively

Candidate who can join ASAP, will be given the 1st priority.
