Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Supervise, monitor and safety & quality assurance for the own tanker fleet managed by the 3rd party ship management company
• Perform annual owner’s audit to 3rd party ship management company
• Represent as owner’s representative for emergencies and work closely with 3rd party ship manager to ensure the emergencies are handled well to prevent the loss of lives, protect the environment, avoid any property & financial damage
• Procurement of marine insurances for the own tanker vessels and assist with claims handling
• Laise with HQ for vessel valuation and Sale & Purchase matters
• Assist the president / GM to liaise with HQ for the reports and work closely with all departments in Singapore
• Assist in tanker vessels’ marine operation including VLCC STS operations
• Assist the VLCC / FSU’s commercial chart party & terms negotiation
• Assist the risk compliance check & vetting and KYC for the clients and their daughter vessels & cargoes
• Assist the President / GM for the tasks assigned as required which including monthly / yearly reports (Mandarin) to headquarter etc.
