Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is from Construction industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Downtown area.

Job Responsibilities

• Take charge of project cost planning, budgeting, and monitoring to ensure financial control.
• Prepare cost analyses and provide procurement recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Track project spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost plans.
• Manage the preparation and submission of progress claims, variation orders, and extension of time (EOT) requests.
• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of subcontract agreements and settlement of final accounts.
• Handle and resolve contractual or commercial issues with stakeholders such as consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and present periodic financial reports, including cost forecasts, cash flow monitoring, and project expenditure updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, procurement records, and commercial correspondences.
• Engage and liaise with relevant parties (consultants, subcontractors, and clients) on financial and contractual matters.
• Assess potential risks and provide mitigation measures for contractual and financial aspects across project stages.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
