Roles & Responsibilities
Job summary :
This role supports the Facilities section in planning, organizing, and managing building services to ensure that all building, mechanical, and electrical systems operate efficiently, meet quality standards, and comply with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance & advice to all building services
- Conduct engineering & building audits to review improvements & upgrading works to buildings & services.
- Ensure all building defects, breakdowns & failures are attended to expeditiously and recovery periods are minimal.
- Ensure vendors & contractors performance & work comply with company's quality standards & authorities codes.
- Check & ensure adequacy of spares & stocks for the repair & maintenance function of the department.
- Liaise with appointed contractors, sub-contractors & vendors.
- Install, maintain & repair all electrical equipment, electrical fittings, switchboards and all items relating to the electrical distribution within the buildings.
- Compile, collate and analyze operational data and reports for the task of continuous improvements.
- Technical support for any related of building services
Requirement :
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services engineeringAt least 5 years of related experience in facilities management, or equivalent relevant experience.Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Positive and professional attitude with good interpersonal skills.Customer service-oriented, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.Professional presentation appropriate for the role (if front-facing).Tell employers what skills you have
