Roles & Responsibilities
Our Client is looking for a passionate Assistant Chef to support both sushi and hot kitchen operations. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to prepare sushi, sashimi, and a variety of hot dishes — ensuring every plate reflects precision, freshness, and creativity.
What You’ll Do :
- Assist in preparing sushi, sashimi, and hot Japanese dishes.
- Handle mise en place, food prep, and plating with consistency and care.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization.
- Support smooth kitchen operations and collaborate with the service team.
- Learn, grow, and refine your culinary techniques under experienced chefs.
What We’re Looking For :
Minimum 3 years of experience in Japanese cuisine (sushi & hot kitchen).Skilled in knife handling and sushi preparation.Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.Completed Basic Food Hygiene Course.Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.Tell employers what skills you have
