Role Summary
The Senior Manager, Digital Commerce will own and drive Myanmar Eduwork’s online revenue channels. You will lead strategy, execution, optimisation of e-commerce / digital product sales, and ensure that digital commerce efforts are aligned with business objectives like student recruitment, visa & PR services, job prep offerings, and B2B contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the digital commerce strategy to grow revenue from MEC’s online offerings : study abroad packages, visa / PR application services, job-preparation courses, etc.
- Manage end-to-end digital sales funnel : acquisition, conversion, retention.
- Oversee MEC’s website, online service portals, and any digital product platforms. Ensure user experience (UX), checkout processes, and payment flows are optimized.
- Lead marketplace or third‐party channel partnerships if relevant (e.g. online education platforms, aggregators)
- Collaborate with marketing (digital / SEO / paid ads / content), operations, customer service, legal for smooth deliveries, compliance and quality.
- Define, track, and report key metrics (e.g. website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, churn, customer lifetime value). Use data to recommend changes.
- Test and implement digital tools, technology enhancements, A / B testing, personalization, and automation to improve performance.
- Work with product / service teams to package offerings that sell well online; pricing strategy, bundling, promotions.
- Stay on top of digital commerce trends, tools, regulatory or payment landscape (esp. cross-border / overseas education / immigration).
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field. Master’s or MBA a plus.5+ years of experience in digital commerce / e-commerce / online business, ideally in education, consulting, or service-based sectors.Strong experience with managing online sales funnels, conversion optimisation, UX, payments.Familiarity with digital marketing (paid ads, SEO, affiliate) and ability to work closely with those teams.Data-driven : experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.), using data to inform decisions.Solid project management skills; able to lead cross-functional teams.Understanding of regulatory, payment, or compliance issues relevant to overseas education, visas, PR, etc., is a strong plus.Excellent communication skills (English + Burmese a plus).KPIs / Targets
