Responsibilities : Sales
& Business Development
Develop and grow a portfolio of clients in the
commodities trading and investment sector.
Identify new business opportunities with commodity
exporters, importers, bullion dealers, refineries, or high-value
supply chain clients.
Present customized
airfreight solutions for the movement of valuable and
time-sensitive commodities.
Prepare
competitive proposals and negotiate contracts to close new
business.
Commodities
Logistics Expertise
Leverage in-depth knowledge of the commodity supply
chain, including regulatory compliance, documentation, customs, and
valuation procedures.
Understand and advise
clients on best practices in airfreight security, cargo insurance,
airport handling, and IATA / ICAO regulations.
Coordinate closely with operations and carriers to ensure
secure handling and time-critical
deliveries.
Client
& Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key
clients in the commodity sector.
Act as the
primary liaison for all commercial discussions and service delivery
expectations.
Work cross-functionally with
internal teams in Singapore & South East Asia and abroad to
ensure exceptional service
standards.
Market
Analysis & Reporting
Monitor trends and pricing dynamics in the airfreight and
commodities markets.
Provide regular pipeline,
forecast, and market intelligence reports to the management
team.
Represent the company at industry
events, trade shows, and commodity-focused
forums.
Job
Requirement : 3-5+
years of sales or account management experience in airfreight,
logistics, or supply chain, with a focus on commodities.
Deep understanding of the commodities trade landscape
(e.g. bullion, precious metal).
Strong
existing network of clients or contacts in the commodity trading
industry.
Excellent interpersonal,
negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM
systems.
