Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Coordinate port calls, vessel berthing, bunkering, cargo loading / unloading.
• Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and terminal operators.
• Monitor vessel schedules and ensure timely turnaround.
• Support marine crew with documentation and shore requirements.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents including B / L, manifest, port clearance, etc.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime laws, safety regulations (ISM / ISPS), and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records and filing of operational documents.
• Track cargo movement and ensure proper handling, storage, and delivery.
• Liaise with shippers, consignees, and logistics providers.
• Act as point of contact between vessel, office, and external stakeholders.
• Provide updates to clients and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Assist in audits and inspections from clients or authorities.
