Job descriptionDevelop and implement procurement strategies for engineering services to meet organisational objectives. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and fostering strong partnerships. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative sourcing solutions. Oversee tendering processes, including preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts. Ensure all procurement activities align with regulations and policies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver optimal procurement solutions. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain service quality and efficiency. Prepare detailed reports and analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field. A strong background in procurement and supply chain management. Proven experience in managing engineering services procurement or related categories. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Knowledge of public sector regulations and procurement compliance requirements is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
