Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, preparing accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in statutory reporting, including audit schedules, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
2. System & Process Management
Maintain and update accounting records in AutoCount Accounting System (experience preferred).Review and improve workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with financial policies.Generate reports from AutoCount to support management decision-making.3. Compliance & Internal Control
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards (SFRS / Charity Accounting Standards), and internal controls.Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and banks.Support governance requirements for charity / non-profit sector (if applicable).4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.Process payments, staff claims, and petty cash disbursement.Manage donation funds, grants, and restricted / unrestricted funds (if charity sector).5. Administrative & Team Support
Provide support to management and programme teams on financial queries.Mentor junior staff (for Senior Executive role).Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by management.Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.At least 02–04 years of relevant working experience (Senior Executive : 5+ years).Proficiency in AutoCount Accounting System preferred.Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.Experience in the charity / non-profit sector is an advantage.Good understanding of Charity Accounting Standards / Governance Code (for candidates with charity background).Strong attention to detail, proactive, and able to work independently.Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.Career Level & Remuneration
