Accounting Manager

Your new company

An energy firm is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Singapore office.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will primarily be looking at the end-to-end accounting and finance functions. You will be managing a team of 2 to support the local entity.

1. Financial Reporting : Oversee preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Accounting and Financial Operations : Manage accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

3. Financial Analysis and Planning : Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

5. Internal Controls and Compliance : Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

6. Team Management : Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and training.

7. Audit and Financial Governance : Liaise with external auditors, respond to audit findings, and implement corrective actions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Bachelor's degree and at least 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience. Team management or supervisory experience is a plus.
