Prepare and cook food items in
accordance with recipes, menus, and quality standards.
Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of
dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of
the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
Monitor food inventory and assist in stock control and
ordering.
Follow food safety and hygiene
regulations at all times.
Work closely with
the Head Chef / Manager to plan menus and daily specials.
Manage time effectively to ensure meals are prepared and
served promptly.
Assist in training and
guiding junior kitchen staff if required.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any
maintenance
issues.
Job
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Cook, Commis Chef, or similar role
in a restaurant or F&B establishment.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and
cuisines.
Ability to follow recipes, food
safety, and hygiene standards.
Strong time
management and organizational skills.
Ability
to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public
holidays.
