Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant team in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and execution of traditional Greek dishes with consistency and excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the flavors of the Mediterranean to life in a modern, dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g. grill, hot starters, cold meze, pastry) focused on Greek specialties.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with Greek culinary traditions and restaurant recipes.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene and safety standards (SFA regulations).
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
- Guide and train junior chefs and kitchen assistants within your section.
- Monitor inventory for your section, assist with stock control, and communicate shortages.
- Participate in menu development, offering suggestions for seasonal or regional Greek dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
GCE 'N' / 'O' level or Diploma in Culinary Arts.3 years of relevant culinary experience in restaurants.Possess WSQ Follow Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures.Understand Greek culture and have good working knowledge of Greek cuisine would be advantageous but not compulsory.Able to work on weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays.Able to work on 5.5 - days’ work week scheduleBenefits :
