Position Summary :
The Sales Assistant Manager will support the sales leadership in driving business growth within the IT hardware components segment, including servers, storage, networking, and related solutions. This role involves managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with vendors / suppliers, and assisting the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The candidate should have strong knowledge of IT hardware products and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Work closely with vendors, distributors, and partners to source IT hardware components (servers, storage, networking, CPUs, memory, etc.).
- Support the Sales Manager in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for customers.
- Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Provide timely sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
- Mentor and support junior sales executives where necessary.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.3–5 years of sales experience in IT hardware components, enterprise solutions, or related industry.Strong understanding of products such as servers, storage, networking equipment, processors, and memory modules.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proven ability to build strong client relationships and close sales.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.Willingness to travel as required for client meetings or vendor engagements.Tell employers what skills you have
