About the location :
The Assistant Director of Sales who will lead our resorts China sales strategy with our diverse and dynamic team.
The Assistant Director of Sales is a shared services leadership position responsible for managing the Sales Group for Four Seasons Maldives & Four Seasons Bali. As part of a shared services collection with shared ownership, the ability to embrace, collaborate and support the “Shared-Services Model” while aligning efficiencies within the cluster is essential.
This position is a Department Head level and reports to the Regional Commercial Director for Maldives and Senior Commercial Director for Bali .
Special Requirements
- 3 years strong relevant experience in territory with solid relationships in all segments including retail, wholesale, and group.
- Strong working experience and relationships with wholesale segment of China trade.
- Able to analyze competitor trends and develop strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets in territory.
- Strong customer service and business development Skills
- Highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to draft and present comprehensive Sales Action Plan.
- Working knowledge Golden Sales & Catering, MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Understand the Commercial Plan and Budgets for the resorts & Explorer as necessary.Understand Four Seasons Management Operating Standards (MOS) for Sales and Marketing. Works directly with Regional Commercial Director (Maldives) and Director of Sales (Bali) of resorts in both destinations on a daily / weekly basis for sales management in relevant territory.Specific goals to be put in place and agreed upon each year. Monthly review of production goals will be conducted.A Golden Sales & Catering report of activity will be sent to each Director of Sales and Regional Commercial Director every Friday by the close of the business day.This position will not have any signing authority of contracts of either of the two resorts.Participate in weekly forecast and revenue management meeting (mandatory unless on business travel or vacation).Monthly review of competition – packages & pricing.Monthly review of supply / updates of new competition.Monthly review of Pace & OTB of accounts.Quarterly review of action plansNegotiate optimal positions in all wholesale brochures.Development and manage marketing activities for all key accounts.Group
20 prospect calls for groups each week.Group proposals to be reviewed by Regional Commercial Director or Director of Sales of the relevant resort prior to sending to the customer by the sales manager.All group contracts to be reviewed by Regional Commercial Director or Director of Sales.
