Senior Security Systems Engineer - South & Southeast Asia - Singapore

The Senior Security Systems Engineer will collaborate with construction, IT, and operations teams to lead security systems projects that protect Tesla's assets, infrastructure, and employees worldwide. This role involves designing, building, commissioning, and supporting security systems for new and existing real estate.

Based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this position provides global support as needed and requires a high degree of autonomy. The role shares responsibility for the success of the technical security program in the South and Southeast Asia region.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of security projects, including construction, retrofit, MACs, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate with project partners and external integrators to define scope, schedule, and cost.
• Develop and review technical security designs, including plans, diagrams, BOMs, and drawings.
• Test, program, and commission security devices, ensuring quality standards.
• Perform site security risk assessments.
• Maintain project documentation and communication.
• Manage maintenance of security systems with support from systems integrators.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure security system documentation is accurate and well-maintained.
