We are looking for COOK AND CHEFF that
specialise in HALAL cuisine or INDIAN
cuisine.
You are responsible for
providing an enjoyable dining experience for customers by preparing
high-quality food. This role involves managing all aspects of food
preparation and production in an environment that meets strict
sanitation standards. Duties range from preparing ingredients for
cooking to being responsible for grilling and cooking all food
items.
Key
Responsibilities :
Prepare and present food orders with attention to detail
and quality.
Follow recipes accurately :
slicing, chopping, mincing, stirring, mixing, and seasoning
ingredients.
Set up workstations with all
necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
procedures are followed.
Maintain a clean and
organized kitchen to support efficient operations.
Monitor ingredient and stock levels; place orders when
supplies are low.
Ensure all ingredients and
final products are fresh and properly stored.
Rotate groceries and ingredients according to expiration
dates (FIFO).
Work collaboratively with
kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen
operations.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a cook, preferably in
Halal or Indian cuisine.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and
sanitation standards.
Ability
to follow or create recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment and as part of a team.
Flexibility
to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Culinary certification or relevant training is a
plus.
