Job Description :
- Effectively respond to assigned port calls from Pre-Arrival info messages to FDA closure.
- Submission of ICA applications, Pilotage booking, transmission messages, and MPA Digiport.
- Selection of contractors for goods and services provided to principals, including submission of competitive quotations, as required.
- Ensure compliance with Ships Agency processes, standards, and procedures,including correct use of the operating system.
- Monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any follow-up inquiries with proactive,efficient, and timely communication at all times.
- Ensure accurate PDA is created and submitted. Ensure the correct amount of pre-funding is received or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation, prior to performing the Port Call.
- Establish and maintain vessel files and ensure that all transactional systems are updated in real-time.
- Proactively follow up, check, and approve supplier’s invoices & record expenses that arise during vessels’ port calls.
- Ensure cost effective Vessel Operation.
- Ensure a consistently high level of accuracy of deliverables.
- Accountable to maintain the QHSSE standard
Salary :
The salary for this position is between $2,500 and $3,000, based on relevant experience, plus vessel allowances.Requirements :
