IT Support - Helpdesk Agent

JOB TYPE : Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Provide Level 1 / Level 2 troubleshooting support for hardware, software, applications, printers, and network issues.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents within the SLA through the IT service management (ITSM) tool.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as required.
  • Perform account setup and administration (Active Directory, O365, Email, VPN, etc.).
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Support end users with remote access tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Ensure timely deployment of system updates, security patches, and antivirus.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and resolution follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support / Service Desk or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office / O365, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA).
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and VPN support.
  • Good problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
