Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to establish and lead the HR function in Singapore. This role will oversee all aspects of HR—including compliance, daily operations, recruitment, and employee engagement—while ensuring alignment with corporate HR standards and full compliance with Singapore employment laws. You will work closely with regional and corporate HR teams to implement consistent practices that support business growth and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
l HR Setup and Leadership
- Lead the establishment of local HR operations to support business expansion
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with corporate standards and comply with Singapore regulations
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the local management team, providing insights and support to the local management team, driving business objectives
l HR Operations & Compliance
Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and training & developmentEnsure compliance with local employment laws, including MOM regulations, CPF, IRAS, and other statutory requirementsOwn and oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, insurance, and medical check-upsLead internal and external HR audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standardsl Talent Acquisition, Retention & Engagement
Work closely with business leaders to understand manpower needs and manage the full recruitment cycleDevelop and maintain effective talent attraction and retention strategies, including competitive incentive and recognition programsSupport employee engagement initiatives, including corporate surveys and action planningChampion programs that promote employee satisfaction, strengthen company culture, and foster a high-performance work environmentl Learning & Development
Plan, implement, and review training and development initiatives to support employee growth and align with organizational objectivesl Budget & Team Management
Prepare and manage the HR budgetLead and mentor the local HR teamQualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in Semiconductor, Electronics industriesBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of Singapore labor laws , CPF, IRAS, and other statutory requirementsProven experience in both strategic HR planning and hands-on HR operationsFamiliarity with HRIS systems and technology-driven HR processesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions and culturesProficiency in Chinese and / or Japanese is a strong plus (to liaise with stakeholders or employees from sister sites)Why Join Us?
