Head (Outreach & Engagement), Youth Development
Young NTUC is the youth wing of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Since our founding in April 2005, Young NTUC has grown to over 180,000 members aged 35 years and below. We support youth throughout their professional and personal journeys to achieve their aspirations through various activities and opportunities. In collaboration with partners from unions, companies, and government agencies, we provide career discovery, workplace support, leadership development, mental well-being resources, holistic personal development, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead a team of Outreach and Engagement officers to promote and implement programmes that raise awareness of Young NTUC and NTUC Starter Membership among youth, especially students in IHLs.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with internal teams (Membership, Programmes, Partnerships), NTUC-affiliated unions, IHLs, government agencies, industry partners, and youth to enhance Young NTUC's brand within the youth sector.
- Manage daily activities of the Outreach and Engagement team, including relationship building, programme management, membership acquisition, budgeting, and tracking outcomes.
- Perform additional duties related to outreach and engagement, including managing external partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS :
Degree in any discipline.At least 7 years of relevant work experience.Strong project and resource management skills to handle multiple assignments and deliver quality work within deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Availability to work some weekday evenings and Saturdays.Willingness to travel to various IHL locations.Good understanding of youth dynamics and challenges, especially among IHL students and first jobbers.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
