Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will be responsible for customer engagement, sales generation, and account servicing. This role requires managing day-to-day sales activities, expanding the client base, and working closely with the sales team to achieve monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Deliver effective after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and needs analysis.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with sales team members to drive growth and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
- Support the Head of Sales in sales planning, strategy development, and related initiatives.
- Source and procure materials locally or externally to fulfill customer orders.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection and adherence to credit terms.
Education & Skills
Minimum Diploma in Sales / Marketing or relevant field.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.Team player with a collaborative attitude.Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in a similar capacity servicing customers in the marine, oil & gas, construction, or engineering sector.Experience in the steel, oil & gas, construction, or industrial supply sectors preferred.Candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply.Preferred Attributes
