70% Farmer role, 30% hunter role
Job Description
- Keep growing our existing customer accounts by spotting new opportunities and offering more of what they need.
- Develop new business and identify potential clients to enhance the existing customer base.
- Implement strategies and tactics to meet and ideally exceed annual revenue and sales targets.
- Prepare sales material, presentations, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries and manage RFQs (Request for Quotes), ensuring quick and effective communication with clients.
- Follow up on all stages of the sales cycle, including lead generation, quoting, coordination with operational staff, project implementation, and the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across processes.
- Manage accounts receivable follow-up to ensure timely client payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Making sure communication flows smoothly and follow-ups are done promptly.
What we are looking for
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in new business development, preferably in the logistics or transportation industryDemonstrated track record of successful client acquisition and account managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clientsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunitiesCollaborative team player with a customer-centric approachStrong negotiation and closing skillsProficiency in MS Office suite and CRM toolsOther Information :
Working hours : 0900 to 1830 (Monday to Friday)
