a Bar Manager

Your Role
You are
expected to maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment by
following company standards and sanitation
regulations.
Managing the business
aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license,
negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering
supplies, managing budgets, cost control measures and setting
goals.
Determine staffing needs, recruitment,
and training staff to provide excellent service to
patrons.
Track staff performance, and assess
development and coaching needs
Set and monitor
quality and service standards for staff by communicating company
policy, standards and procedures to staff.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to
meet set standards
Ensure adherence to stock
control procedures, and monitor and order supplies.
Make certain all deliveries are checked in correctly and
documentation is correct, and stored to reduce wastage.
Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving
conflicts to ensure that the bar is well staffed during peak
hours.
Setting and enforcing quality and
safety controls, ensuring that industry-specific quality and safety
guidelines are followed by all staff
Ability
to communicate calmly and effectively to diffuse tense interactions
that might occur to maintain a safe and fun atmosphere for both
guests and staff
Generate and present
financial reports, implement improvements for products and service,
and maintain regular communication with staff and management
through meetings and discussions.

Requirements
Adaptable and able to work flexible hours and able to
accommodate operational requirements
Experience in the management of a bar or beverage service
operation
Complete working knowledge of
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Displaying good hygiene standards, well-groomed and
highly motivated individual
