Key Responsibilities
Contract & Commercial Management
- Lead pre- and post-contract management, including tender reviews, contract negotiations, claims, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Land Transport Authority (LTA), and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines.
- Manage main contract and subcontract agreements, ensuring timely execution and risk control.
- Oversee preparation, review, and submission of claims, cost variations, and contractual correspondences.
Financial & Cost Control
Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost forecasts to ensure profitability and financial discipline.Oversee monthly progress claims, payment certifications, and final account settlements.Implement cost control measures and value engineering to optimize project margins.Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on all commercial matters.Provide commercial advice and support to Project Directors, Managers, and Site Teams.Prepare and present commercial reports and financial updates to senior management.Risk Management & Compliance
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across projects.Ensure compliance with company policies, PDPA regulations, no-gift policy, and Business Code of Conduct.Support audits, insurance matters, and dispute resolution processes.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 8–12 years of commercial management experience in the construction / M&E industry, with proven track record in Singapore (preferably on large-scale infrastructure or building projects).Strong knowledge of standard forms of contracts (PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC, LTA contracts).Proficiency in cost management, claims preparation, contract law, and dispute resolution.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Familiarity with ERP / Project Management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Tell employers what skills you have
